Great, here for the weekend to take in a play at Royal Shakespeare and sight seeing. Lovely boutique hotel and friendly staff. Easy check in. Had a lovely suite. Only thing, not enough normal sockets that can take my phone charger. I had to charge my phone in the bedroom, which was not my room. Other than that, I loved the hotel and location. Beautiful modern bathroom, which had a bath and shower. Plenty payable parking very closeby.
Birthday treat weekend. Parking outside hotel is easy but £10 per day. Stayed in feature suite (so not cheap) wife loved the big bath, not so keen on the bed mattress. Spotless, large and warm room-very welcoming after a short walk into Stratford upon Avon across the foot bridge. Desk staff very helpful and informative, thankyou
Fantastic dog friendly stay for valentines weekend. Hotel situated right by the footbridge over towards the canalside and town. If you take a dog with you you will be on the ground floor. I suggest asking for room 18, 19 or 20 as the are close to the carpark and exit for dog comfort breaks. Rooms were very comfortable, bed excellent we had a great 2 nights sleep. The bar "The Bear" allows dogs with a nice relaxed atmosphere and is also open to non residents , lots of offers on each day and a decent range of ale. One night we had 2 main meals. 2 pints a d 2 doubles which came to £46. You get a discount if you show your room card. The restaurant only allows dogs in for breakfast. Check in was fast and we felt we were made very welcome. Big shout out to Tracey in reception and Ollie in the bar. We will 100% be staying again
Had a suite for my birthday. Not much more than a double. Bet comfy bed, great 3 piece settee. Staff were great, nothing to much trouble. Great location, next to butterfly farm and a very short walk into the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon.
We recently stayed at the Swans Nest Hotel for a couple of nights and from start to finish it was a great stay. We stayed in the Orsino Suite, the room was a great size and value for money. Tracey and the team behind the desk were all very friendly and welcoming. Even when there was an issue in the reception area and theynneeded to access the fuse board in our room, they were very apologetic towards us and accommodating. The breakfast area was quite big and there was plenty of food options and drinks on offer to suit all. Next door there is the Bear pub which also offers food and drink and if you mention your staying at the hotel, you get a discount. From the hotel to the centre of Stratford, it's just a short walk across the bridge. The hotel also offers parking on site for a small fee. Overall a great stay and myself and the family will be returning. Highly recommended.
An excellent place to stay if you visit Stratford upon Avon - right on the river Van and 5min walk to the city centre. The rooms were comfortable with a lovely double bed and duvet. The personnel was attentive and friendly. The adjacent Bear Pub provides even more facilities to enjoy. We will certainly book again on our next visit.
Great location for quickly walking into the town centre, without being right in it. All the team were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Did not eat there in the evening, but breakfast was cooked fresh and good quality. Room was very clean and good for the price. Parking is located behind the hotel and is convenient, for an extra £10 a night. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Stratford.
Love this place. We come back to the Swans Nest every time we visit Stratford Upon Avon. Location is perfect, right by the river. Just a 5 minute walk into town. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is great and staff again very friendly especially Krassi who looked after us. Added bonus is the lovely little pub, The Bear, which is attached to the hotel.
